"For the past 4 years I've suffered from violent bouts of diarrhea interspersed with severe constipation. I left my house with much trepidation as I never knew which of these maladies would strike me while on the road, in a store, or in the company of friends. For three years my husband (an internist) suspected these symptoms might indicate gluten intolerance (celiac disease). But the symptoms were never consistent and I was reluctant to be tested. At the age of 50, I had a colonoscopy. The results were normal. I was somewhat disappointed as I had hoped that something would be found that could explain my continued illness. The treating physician said it was probably Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), and suggested medication. Although I'm a registered nurse, I balk at taking medicines. Visits to my physician were met with skepticism. I changed physicians only to find the same attitude. I finally went to the emergency department at the local hospital. An initial x-ray revealed a bowel totally compacted with fecal material. I was send home with the well known ‘GoLitely’ kit (a very lengthy and unpleasant laxative) and no diagnosis for my problem. I immediately ordered the DrNatura products. I couldn't tolerate the discomfort any longer. While I waited for my order, I completed my GoLitely kit. Now my bowel was again cleansed, but would it help? The answer was again – NO!  Within two weeks I was again living with a nonfunctioning bowel. But my order had arrived and I immediately began the regimen.

I didn't tell my physician about my use of DrNatura. Despite the fact that he practices medicine in the most holistic city in the nation, he wouldn't have been impressed. But he wanted me to have another colonoscopy. This time I would also have an endoscopy (tube down my throat) to get a biopsy. He wanted to prove or disprove Celiac Disease. The tests were done and EVERYTHING was normal. I did not have Celiac Disease, but I also did not have a diagnosis for my continued severe constipation.

And I still don't have a diagnosis today. But it doesn't matter anymore. I've used the DrNatura products for several months, and it's working! I began using the products exactly as instructed. The results were impressive! I had regular bowel movements of normal size and consistency. Stools were soft and painless. I actually felt ‘empty’ for the first time in months. My abdomen went down considerably. Being one who experiments, I stopped using the DrNatura. Within a week, the bowel movements stopped. The bloating resumed; and I resumed my DrNatura.

"I'M BACK! You have a wonderful product. After many visits to my doctor (August - December 2004) with pain in my side, he finally took an x-ray and discovered I was full of crap - literally! He told me to take a milk of magnesia/mineral oil cocktail for 4 days straight. The pain went away only to be back 2 weeks later.  I decided to search the internet for something...anything for some kind of relief. "Hi my name is Angela, and I just had to write to say thank you! If it wasn't from all the testimonials that I read, then I would not be feeling good today! See, I had a friend that was on this health kick and was asking me if I had ever cleaned my colon before. I told her no, but that I have had many colonoscopies and have had to drink that nasty stuff to clean me out before I had my procedure, but that was it...other then all the surgeries I have had. Today is day 22 on my colon cleanse and it is finally starting to happen! I have spent the past 3 weeks going to the bathroom a little more than I used to, at least every day, but still waiting for ‘things’ to start coming out better. I have had the occasional whipworm or flatworm, some gray, fleshy pockets of stuff, just not a LOT of it. I have also had the occasional yellow watermelon seed from this past summer's watermelon (you know the ones you can't spit out but also can't avoid eating).  And, by the way, my transit time is definitely down to 8-18 hours instead of 2+ days!!

This morning I had a larger BM than usual and it was obvious that the gray, fleshy pockets were the shape of my colon because the pieces were larger this time. Also, it started to smell a little different.

I have had more energy since day 1 of this cleanse, still have the brain fog going on, but I know that will leave me soon and it doesn't really matter because the energy is there.  I was also passing more fleshy material yesterday that looked like the color of clear worms, but was probably more like their habitat or something. About 2 weeks ago, I passed something about the size of a chick pea that was hard (couldn't cut into it), fleshy and yellow. Some sort of polyp? Not sure what it was, but glad it's gone! 

One of the more recent testimonials I read mentioned taking the Colonix fiber 3 times a day, a few hours after meals. Well, I started taking 1/3 of a scoop after every meal about a week ago. (I am only 110 pounds so I didn't think I wanted a full scoop each time.) This seems to be working better for me.

Just to let others know, my chiropractor recommended I do a colon cleanse 2 years ago. I obviously didn't start right away. I started a ‘greens’ product and that gave me more energy for a time. Lately, I was trying herbal supplements for my many ailments and they didn't help at all. It was then that I realized they weren't being absorbed and the only way to start getting healthy would be to do a colon cleanse. I am looking forward to being healthier than I ever have been in my entire life and living the rest of my life with NO health issues!! “I wanted to give everyone an update: Today is day 32 of my cleanse (10 days after my previous testimonial) and it's starting out pretty GOOD! I had about 2 feet of stuff that's stripped from the colon, come out of me. I was so glad because last night I had the most horrible cramps!! Mine hasn't actually been the black rope stuff, for the most part. There has been little pieces of it here and there. Mine is mostly gray pouches, tough and fleshy, and colon shaped pockets.

I took my 5 day break from day 25-30 and I wanted to mention that it definitely made a difference. I couldn't get the ‘urge to go’ unless I had caffeine (coffee, tea, soda, or chocolate). So, I know that the tea is working!! It was such a relief to be back on it. I know that I definitely have problems.

Also, wanted to tell you that I believe I am getting the Candida yeast out of my system. It looks white, just like when you have a yeast infection. So, I am thrilled to see this coming out!

Anyway, just to let you all know, if you start on this cleanse and it's slow going, DON'T GIVE UP!!! Everyone has lived their lives differently making food choices, etc. and it makes a difference as to how your body cleanses (either quickly or slowly). And, keep in mind that your detox symptoms can vary depending on that also. You may go through a period of ‘retracing’ when you feel aches and pains from your past that you thought were over. I was kind of skeptical about the product until I read the testimonials. I called my sister and told her about it and we agreed that we would give it a try. It is now day 9 for me and I have had great results. I am going to the restroom every morning when I wake up like clock work and then at least 1-2 more times during the day (sometimes more). I have noticed some weird looking things in my bowels (kind of like what was in the pictures). The program is very easy to follow and the tea also tastes pretty good and is soothing.
