Q. How long should it take for me to see results of the colon cleanse?

A. Keep in mind that this is a very gentle and effective program and that your system has been accumulating waste matter and toxins in your intestinal track for years. This may take some time to remove. Some people will see results right away, some will not see much until the 3rd week, and some will not see them until the 2nd or 3rd month. Everyone is different. In the beginning you are eliminating the more recent debris and the longer you cleanse, the more you will begin to see the older build-up.

Q. Are DrNatura products approved by the FDA?

Q. Are DrNatura products made with organic ingredients?

Q. What kind of fiber is in Colonix?

A. The Colonix fiber contains 1/3 insoluble and 2/3 soluble fiber. Psyllium is the main ingredient in the fiber; 73% is psyllium and the remaining 27% is made up of a combination of other herbs.

Psyllium is a natural bulking agent which yields 60 to 70 percent soluble fiber – eight times that of oat bran. Psyllium does the heavy-lifting in two parts: it swells into a spongy mass, absorbing fluids and toxins. It also breaks down waste and moves build-up that has been trapped in the folds and crevices of the colon. Psyllium is also well studied and proven to reduce total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein ("bad cholesterol").

Standard psyllium is only 85% grade. Our psyllium, however, is 95% grade. It costs more than standard psyllium, but we also believe that the higher grade is more effective in cleansing the colon, and it dissolves better in liquids.

Q. How much water should I be drinking per day while I’m on the Colonix Program?

A. You should drink at least 64 ounces, or eight 8-oz. glasses of water, per day in order to effectively cleanse.

Q. If I stop taking the Colonix Program, and resume taking it in a few days, will it still work?

A. The program works best if taken continuously. Taking a break for a few days should not alter the effects in any way, provided you resume taking the products as recommended for the duration of the program.

Q. Can I do a colon cleanse while I’m pregnant or nursing?

A. Internal cleansing/detoxification is not recommended for pregnant or nursing women. The mother should wait until her baby is weaned completely.

A. No. The Colonix program is recommended for those 18 years and over. We have a liver and colon purifying product for children four years of age and over called Kidetox. Remember it is important for children to drink plenty of water and eat fresh fruits and vegetables on a daily basis.

Q. Should I keep Flora Protect Probiotics in the refrigerator?

A. Flora Protect Probiotics is not required to be kept in the refrigerator. Close cap tightly after each use and store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If you refrigerate this product, bring it to room temperature before opening to avoid condensation. This product is sensitive to moisture.

Q. Are there any warnings associated with KleriTea?

A. KleriTea contains senna. It is designed for periodic cleansing. Long-term continuous use of senna products is not recommended. After the first five days of your cleanse, we recommend using KleriTea every other day or less (only as needed for regular bowel movements). KleriTea should not be used by pregnant or nursing women or children under 18 years of age.

Q. What materials are used to make the KleriTea tea bags?

A. All tea bags are made with a blend of wood and vegetable fibers. Some manufacturers use chlorine to bleach the paper used for the bags, which creates a dioxin chemical residue. However, our filter paper comes from suppliers that have converted their bleaching processes to a chlorine free process using hydrogen peroxide or oxygen instead. Our suppliers also confirmed through testing that no dioxin can be detected in the KleriTea filter paper.

Q. Will I be eliminating all day? I am afraid of eliminating at work.

A. While extremely effective at cleansing the colon, the Colonix program is also very gentle; most customers report that they do not have to 'run to the restroom' or keep in close proximity to one. For the majority of people, the elimination happens during the first hour or two after waking up. If you want to 'play it safe', however, and you work from Monday to Friday, you might consider beginning on a Saturday morning so you have the first couple of days to get used to the program at home.

KleriTea is designed to work 7 or 8 hours after drinking it, which is why you should take it at bedtime, so you will eliminate in the morning before you leave home.

Q. Can I take DrNatura products long-term?

A. KleriTea and Immune Protect should not be taken long-term. All other DrNatura products may be taken long-term. Generally, completing a one-month course of the Colonix & Toxinout programs every six to twelve months after the initial three-month cleanse is a good way to keep the colon clean and functioning at peak performance. Once you feel revitalized, you’ll want to keep feeling that way! (Good health is addictive.) To build on your post-cleanse momentum, add the Colonix fiber, Flora Protect Probiotics and/or DetoxiGreen to your daily routine to maintain your healthy state and prevent future toxin build-up. Q. How long do I have to do the cleanse?

A. Typically, we recommend undertaking the program for three months if it is your first time cleansing. However, completing one to two months of the program may be sufficient. Q. Will the Colonix program affect serious training?

A. Regarding intense or competitive training, in the beginning of a detox you may (or may not) feel a little uncomfortable the first 7-10 days. Just see how you feel each day, as far as your energy is concerned, and listen to that intuitively. While detoxing in the early stages it is possible that you may not have as much energy for a few days. But within 2 weeks, many customers report increased energy and feeling revitalized.

Q. When should I start the Toxinout program?

A. The Colonix Program and the Toxinout Program can be done together or completely independent of each other; however, using both programs together is only recommended for those who are in excellent health and/or cleanse their bodies on a regular basis.

If your health is average, or if you’ve never detoxified your body before, we recommend using only the Colonix program for the first month, preferably combined with Flora Protect Probiotics. Q. How long can I use KleriTea?

A. KleriTea is designed for short-term use. It contains senna, which should not be used long-term. KleriTea should not be used by pregnant or nursing women or by children under 18 years of age.

Q. Why does DrNatura recommend using Flora Protect Probiotics? Is Colonix harming the good bacteria in my body?
