Several amino acids are essential in the detoxification process, such as L-Methionine, L-Cysteine and L-Glutathione. One of the most powerful antioxidants is Alpha Lipoic Acid. A potent toxin removal formula also has to contain vitamin C and the three most important minerals in the detoxification process: Zinc, selenium and magnesium. Zinc and selenium are essential in the removal of mercury and other heavy metals as is vitamin B1.
